Popular Science Conference Vol. 1 2021
In PPI Swedia’s (Indonesian Student Association in Sweden) first-ever Popular Science Conference, I’ve received the opportunity to be one of the speakers to present their Master’s Thesis research findings. It was only two days after my Thesis Defence when the event took place, still, I was thrilled to be part of the virtual conference. Not only was it my first time presenting as an academic researcher, but I got to learn so much more in the span of an hour from others’ research. Cheers to the dedicated PPI Swedia team from providing the platform for us Indonesian students!
Trinket Inspiration at Trinket By Kath
In May 2021, I started collaborating with Trinket By Kath, an online store initiated by renowned Indonesian illustrator, Kathrin Honesta. I have been an admirer of Kathrin Honesta’s works from afar and I am very excited in getting the opportunity to do this with her and her team. As the collab is part of the shop’s #TrinketBlossoms campaign, the TBK team designed a feature post of me and what inspires me to write. Do check out Trinket By Kath’s page and you never know, you might just find something you need.
Humankind Zine | Issue Two
One of my poems that I wrote this year as a reflection of 2020, titled ‘Nonetheless’ is featured in the second issue of Humankind Zine on the theme ‘Rebirth and Renewal’. So excited that I had the opportunity to have my work presented along with these talents, page after page, after page! Also, I adore the complemented artwork for my piece, it is absolutely gorgeous!
92meu podcast
I had the opportunity to speak (virtually) with 92meu podcast and share my experiences growing up as a TCK or third culture kid. This became one of the best conversations I have ever had while getting to know both Caleb and Shelagh. Thank you so much for having me and letting me reflect on my growing up experiences and learning more about the varied experiences of growing up as a TCK.
